Matthew King was alt.gothic's resident doomsayer and regularly announceD its demise. He likes to talk about proportional representation, which is the only way the Pan-Canadian Goth Party will ever get a seat in parliament.

He was attached to Tetsab. Now he lives in the forest

Matthew laments the aesthetics of the Stanley Cup:

..."the Leafs were in the playoffs, once."
...there have been "fifteen straight years without a Canadian Stanley Cup winner."
