==Submitting a Bid==
Perhaps we should allow people planning to put together a bid by listing which C they're bidding for, what city, and recording a date, then ask them to come back every 90 days or so and update the date so we know they're still thinking about bidding? --[[User:Hellsop|Hellsop]] 18:21, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Would an "open bid planning" page be a good idea? I'm envisioning basically laying out all thoughts and conversations for a hypothetical bid, so that someone thinking about their bid could go look at how such a thing might go down... --Hellsop 17:23, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Expectations

Hotel

Is 2-3 people per room average about right for filling rooms? Looking for input as to number of attendees overall versus number of rooms sold. Also, note to self: ask Leslie for hotel-side info such as typical contracts provisions, typical size rooms for booth space in case of vending, banquet space in case of tea-party or corpgoth needing to go in-house, etc. --Hellsop 17:15, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Room Blocks

Hotel-based Events

Venue

Probably need contacts with actual serious promotion experience to fill in these. Matt Fanale might have useful info as well. --Hellsop 17:15, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Submitting a Bid

Perhaps we should allow people planning to put together a bid by listing which C they're bidding for, what city, and recording a date, then ask them to come back every 90 days or so and update the date so we know they're still thinking about bidding? --Hellsop 18:21, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
