Aglet

The aglet is a form of netgoth currency which enables the transfer of drinks within the netgoth community. It was initially devised by Erithromycin, with help from Dag.

"The simplest course of action would probably be to create agLETs that could be passed along the supply chain as indicators of process," said Erithromycin, musing on the business of drink transfer through complex networks. "It might take a while for a drink to get from one person to another, but the advantage of long chains is lots of people get drink. Think of it as propogation through the round system."

Example:-

A creates an agATE 'packet', of an agLET (addressed to C) and a drink. A hands the agATE packet to B. B drinks the drink. B encounters C. receives an agATE packet of an agLET and a drink.

In more complex chains, agLET's might get stacked. Suppose A,B wish to buy E a drink. A,B create an agATE packet of an agLET and _two_ drinks, and hand it to C. The agLET should have another attached, and be denoted agLET(E,2) C also wishes to buy E a drink. C hands D an agATE packet of an agLET and _three_ drinks. It is now agLET(E,3) D propogates aglet(E,3) to E.
