Tampa serves as a homebase to a number of attractions that might be of interest to Convergence patrons. Busch Gardens sits in the middle of Tampa, as does Lowry Park Zoo. Orlando and all its offerings are 90 minutes down I-4, making it very easy to combine a trip to Disney World or Universal with Convergence debauchery.

For a city of its size, Tampa has a nice selection of cultural sites. The most famous being the Dali Museum, which is located just over the bay in St. Petersburg. There are a number of other world-renowned museums in the area. These include the Florida International Museum, The Florida Holocaust Museum, and Tampa Museum of Art.
