10am Art Show Set Up in the Alcove Room @Congress Hotel (Contact: Chad Savage)
We'll definitely need assistance in the purchasing, transportation and assembly of the pegboard "easels". Assembly will basically just involve nailing pegboard to 2x4's, then drilling a hole in the 2x4 at the top, then attaching them to each other with a bolt-and-washer.

We need one or two people to meet the group of people in the lobby and walk them over to the Field Museum

5:30pm Decorating Metro (Contact: Scary Lady Sarah)
We want to do some decorating of Metro on Friday and have people on hand for Saturday & Sunday, just in case over-zealous C10 guests take too much stuff down. We'll have the Metro staff leave the decor that's up still up for the duration of the weekend, since it's only us there the whole time. So, we open at 8p.m. on Friday...we'd like to have 3 or 4 volunteers at Metro promptly at 5:30p.m. to help hang stuff up.

Metro/Bands Help (Contact: Scary Lady Sarah)
We need some VERY reliable people with VERY reliable BIG vehicles to pick up bands from airports, take them to hotel, and to (and maybe from at the end of the night) Metro. We need a total of four. We can't say which times yet, as the travel arrangements for the bands are still being taken care of. Having one person available to do go-fering (production assistant) on each of the three evenings is also essential to the night time events.
We may also need one person to pick up musical equipment & bring it to Metro (though it might all be delivered from the rental company.) Any moving of equipment will be done by Metro staff.
